This recipe is so easy and quick to make yet offers a heavenly decadence to it that you would swear takes hours to achieve…we know the magic of this dish is in the aged maple syrup.
Baked Brie with Cranberries & Pecans
Warm, melty brie cheese topped with crunchy pecans and dried cranberries covered in bourbon syrup.
Servings: 8-10
Total Time: 15 Minutes
Ingredients
- 1 sm round Brie
- 1/4 cup Dried Cranberries
- 1/4 cup Black Jack Pecans (chopped)
- 2-3 TBSP Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
Prep
Preheat oven to 375F.
Rough chop pecans.
Place brie in small baking dish. Top with nuts and cranberries.
- Toss dried cranberries and a teaspoon of water in a microwaveable bowl. Warm for 15-20 seconds to soften and plump.
Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
100% pure maple syrup aged in small batch bourbon barrels for up to 18 months!
Cooking
- Bake 5 minutes. Remove from oven and add maple.
- Continue baking 5 more minutes or until cheese has softened.
- Enjoy with your favorite crackers!
Pro Tips
- Let cool 1-2 minutes before serving to prevent any mouth burning.
- Substitute regular pecans or candied pecans for black jack pecans. If using regular pecans, add sea salt to taste.
- Use a small cast iron skillet instead of a baking pan to easily remove it from the oven.
