Killer Maple Chicken Marinade
Marinate chicken with some of your old favorites like soy, ginger, and garlic paired with the new taste of bourbon maple.
- 8 Bone-in Chicken Thighs (with skin)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Sesame Oil
- 4 tbsp Coconut Aminos or Low Sodium Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 2 tbsp Lime Juice
- 4 tbsp Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
- 6 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 tsp Ginger (freshly grated)
- Salt & Pepper (to taste)
Place all ingredients for marinade in zip-lock bag.
Add chicken and close bag.
Toss until chicken is throughly coated.
Place in fridge to marinate at least 30 minutes. Best if left to marinate overnight.
When ready to cook, preheat oven to 450F.
Place entire contents of bag into baking dish.
Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165F, with the skin side facing up.
Place zip-lock bag in mixing bowl prior to filling. This will keep it open and upright while you are filling it with the ingredients.
To guarantee juicy chicken, baste the meat 15-20 minutes through baking with the pan juices.
For crispy skin, turn on the broiler for the last 3 minutes of cooking.
