Maple Roasted Pears

Baked to perfection, these maple roasted pears create a sweet ending to any meal. Basted with spiced apple cider and finished with a bit of bourbon maple, these pears pair great with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!

Maple Roasted Pears

Juicy, tender pears roasted with apple cider and drizzled with bourbon syrup.

Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup

100% pure maple syrup aged in small batch bourbon barrels for up to 18 months!

Prep

  1. Preheat oven to 400F.

  2. In a small sauce pan, warm cider on stove. 

  3. After one minute of cider cooking, slice butter and add to cider. Stir until melted.

  4. Place pears skin side down in small baking dish.

  5. Pour cider mixture over pears. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sea salt.

Cooking

  1. Bake for 30 minutes, basting with juices from baking pan every 10 minutes. 

  2. Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with maple syrup before serving. 

Pro Tips

  1. Substitute orange juice if you don’t have apple cider on hand. 

  2. Whiskey maple is a great alternative to the bourbon. 

  3. Add a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream for a more decedent dessert.
