Baked to perfection, these maple roasted pears create a sweet ending to any meal. Basted with spiced apple cider and finished with a bit of bourbon maple, these pears pair great with a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream!
Juicy, tender pears roasted with apple cider and drizzled with bourbon syrup.

Preheat oven to 400F.
In a small sauce pan, warm cider on stove.
After one minute of cider cooking, slice butter and add to cider. Stir until melted.
Place pears skin side down in small baking dish.
Pour cider mixture over pears. Sprinkle with cinnamon and sea salt.
Bake for 30 minutes, basting with juices from baking pan every 10 minutes.
Remove from oven and immediately drizzle with maple syrup before serving.
Substitute orange juice if you don’t have apple cider on hand.
Whiskey maple is a great alternative to the bourbon.
