There’s some sort of magic that happens when you combine good wholesome activities and cooler days. For a lot fo families, fall gets the gang out to pick apples, grab a pumpkin, or even just having a marshmallow roast.

East Tennessee and more specifically the Tri-Cities area [aka Bristol, Kingsport, Johnson City, and all the little towns between] is home to numerous farms that can fill your fall bucket list. However, there are three pumpkin patches you need to scratch off your list this year.

Pumpkin Patches Near Johnson City

While none of these pumpkin patches are located in Johnson City proper, they are conveniently spread out in the Tri-Cities area… and beyond. We cannot wait for opening day!

Stickley Farm

The Stickley Farm is located in Bluff City, approximately 25 minutes North of Johnson City. This pumpkin patch is loaded with fun for everyone with a pick-you-own pumpkin patch, tons of kids activities including inflatables, petting zoo, hayrides, corn maze, haunted attractions, & more! Fender’s Farm

Fender’s Farm is situated in Jonesborough, making it under a 20 minute drive from Johnson City, TN. Fender’s pumpkin patch is the closest and also are favorite. The family fun pumpkin & corn farm pride theirselves in offering a family friendly atmosphere that’s got all the fall fun from picking your own pumpkin to numerous play ground stations to corn mazes and their new low ropes course! Myers Farm

The Myers Farm sits in Bulls Gap, a 50 minute drive from Johnson City, and is well worth it. You guessed it! At Myers pumpkin patch you can pick your very own pumpkin. They have a large selection of pumpkins, gourds, and squash for sale among other fall produce. Myers farm has the traditional hayrides and corn maze while also offering private s’mores fire-pits (with reservation of course) for your small group. Opening day is on September 24th.
