Apple Cinnamon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup

Cooking

  1. Cover and cook for 2-3 hours on low or until liquid has absorbed with soft apples.

  2. Before serving, stir in cinnamon apple maple syrup.

Pro Tips

  1. Preferred apples for this recipe are braeburn, granny smith, jonagold, or honeycrisp.

  2. Caramel apple, chai tea, or bourbon maple syrup can be used instead of apple cinnamon maple syrup.

  3. If using the keep warm setting on slow cooker, add more half & half as needed to keep moist and do not keep warm for more than 2 extra hours.
